Happy with this new hobby
I keep using Rachel Maddow Show to talk about some current events, specially within US politics. Depending on the topic, I would either start a new thread or post a reply in someone's threads using her videos. I then thought "why not start a Rachel Maddow thread where I can bring up some of the interesting facts that she presents in order to be debated by our forum members who enjoy political debates?"

So here it is...

I'm trying to increase the amount of useful information in the world. I think sometimes I get defined as an activist because I say what my opinion is. I'm not trying to push an agenda of any sort. I'm trying to figure out how to make the big, bad world out there make more sense.

I am aware many people find Rachel Maddow to be as lunatic as Glen Beck, but if they would take their personal opinion out of the way and analyze the facts she presents in a logical matter, it is my believe that Rachel would achieve what she is trying to accomplish (quoted above).

Whose "facts"? Both sides can come up with as many "facts" as they need to make their side believable. I am personally so sick and tired of politics and religion that I'm seriously considering doing something to permanently shut up the main source of both in my household as well as anyone else who tries to get in my way.
