Our Uno, snow hatchling, is one week hatched today. I checked this morning for a shed and there wasn't one and just a few minutes ago, I thought I'd check again and sure enough there was a tiny little shed!! So I went and got out a small frozen pinkie, cut it in half long way, heated it under hot water and took it in to him. Jake wanted to feed him so I told him not to get upset if he didn't take it right away and before he could answer me..bam...he took it!! And ate it like a pro and then ate the second half the same way. Now let's hope it digests! He is going to be mad at us for a couple of days because so far, he loves coming out every night and being held for a few minutes..now he has to wait for 3-4 days...

He ate so fast it was hard to get a pic but at least you can see...

Oh, and notice the break in his head pattern is shaped like a "C"...his momma is Celia and his father is Casper

He's a big boy compared to my Miamis! I'm sure he could eat a whole tiny pink next time. Candy Cane hatched at 5 grams but weighed 4.6 for his first meal, and he has always eaten whole pinks. (I know- it doesn't seem like they could!!)

I know..it seemed like he was still hungry after he was done...or I think it is a he...will try to pop after a couple more sheds...

Well, my kids are all out cruising the next day! I'm feeding them every four days right now. But I don't _need_ to handle them all, all the time! They sure seem to like to come out and have something to do, though!
