Hello everyone,
I'm brand new to this forum, figured I'd jump right in with a question about some funky looking scales on my corn snake!
My snake is an adult female reverse Oketee that I adopted a few years ago in the UK. As I had to move out of the country recently due to a work contract ending, she is currently in the care of some friends there (who have kept snakes before).
Yesterday they noticed some odd-looking scales on her back: https://imgur.com/a/x8u2uHd
She's a notorious burrower, so I'm hoping this is just a case of light damage from wedging herself under something. I've had my colleagues take out any objects that may have been responsible for now.
Usually I'd have her checked over by a vet, but because of the lockdown this isn't currently possible.
I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on a) what this is, and b) how to take care of it. Any help appreciated!
