I'm using HovaBators. As long as you have a thermometer other than the one they put in there, they work great. The thermometer they include is just AWFUL, and is off by about 5 degrees. And they're relatively cheap.

www.lllreptile.com has them for a really good price. Mine hold 2 6qt tubs, but if you can find large deli-cups to put the clutches in, you can fit many more.
And they have one main surface.

If you look carefully at the dimensions of the Reptipro 5000 it is a bit of a small unit. looks like it will hold about 2 9" deli containers, or two clutches.
Making an incubator is relatively easy, lots of info in the DIY FORUMS. Basically all ya need is a box, a small computer type fan for air circulation, some heat tape and a thermostat.
I use the Helix db-1000. They are so simple to use and very accurate/ dependable.

Here is a pic of my DIY incubator, it has plenty of room for mutiple delicups to hold and separate multiple clutches ect. and it cost about the same as the reptipro 5000. to make. I took shelves out so you can see the heat tape which simply plugs into the Helix and the Helix plugs into the wall. The Little fans get plugged directly into a wall outlet as they need to run Cont.

What is that heat rope on there? Don't see the heat tape. Nice work though! I so far haven't braved trying to make my own, not a lot of self confidence here.
I use 2 hovabators for leopard gecko eggs. One is set at 82-83 degrees where they stay until they are 21 days old, then they go in the second which is set at 87-88 degrees until they are "cooked."
For the cornsnake eggs, I use no incubator. They stay in the snake room stacked in the highest corner right near the ceiling. The temps vary from about 80 - odd short periods of 85-86.

it is heat tape like ya use on pipes to prevent freezing. just modified it ( thermostat removed) and it plugs into my Helix db 1000. unit works like a champ!
