terrarium is missing the upper black trim

So I bought a used 30 gallon for my corn snake
and I didnt notice that the upper black trim was missing
this was an issue after I bought clips for a lid and had no where to attach them too at the bottom!

Is there anyway to buy a new trim of sorts or am I just sol?

Can you bring it back from where you purchased it from?

There are automotive trim strips and wheel well strips that would work, but they would cost more than the price of a used tank. If you have Home Depot in your area they have trim strips that can be affixed with silicone.

I mean, using proper glue so that it holds STRONG you could essentially get just about any piece of trim out there that is black or any other color and glue it around the rim at the right height for the clips to work. You just need to get the glue right so it can not be broken by a fully grown 4.5+ foot long muscle pushing against the ceiling of his tank. They're surprisingly strong lol

There are fish tanks built without upper black trim for a cleaner look. I don't know of anything that you could buy, but you could possibly build a lid and then make clips to clip top lid to bottom of tank. Not sure what else you could do. Either way, i think you are going to have to get creative.
