This is a free natural science magazine, with past issues available for 4th-5th grade and for middle school, on a range of subjects from the USDA forest service. You can order up to 150 copies of a single issue at a time for free. I just ordered several back issues that have frog/toad/amphibian related articles for a homeschool "Save the Frogs! Day" event. There is one on rattlesnakes in the forest fires issue. It's worth bookmarking.

You can also download them, but I'd suggest only doing so to computers or fairly large tablets-they're readable, if a bit small, on my iPad, but they don't work on Allidraggy's kindle.
