How is my setup?

Louie Louie the baby corn snake is arriving tomorrow, I have a hide on both sides, water on the cooler side. I read in a few places that corn snakes don't like too much open space so I got a fake plant but it seems like too much to me. Side note he WILL be upgraded to a 40g long when he gets bigger, I just happened to have this tank already.

when all else fails, go back and read the rules. Pictures must be of a certain size. 1024 pixels or smaller. Make sure you are doing it right.

it's pretty bare. Corn snakes like a lot of hiding places and clutter. He may be nervous in there.

Some corns spend a lot of time in their hides, some corns like their hides after eating or during shedding. I have some corns that stay out of the hides 90% of the time. I have one male that never goes in his hide. Some of my females rush out of their hide when they see me enter the snake room, hoping to get handled or fed.
