pigment loss? help!

Can someone tell me what this is please? never seen anything like it. New to reptiles and really fckin scared.

If your snake is experiencing a sudden loss of pigment and that has you worried, you need to take it to a vet. I don't know what species this is, but is does look like there might also be an injury over the eye.

He is a reticulated python.. But yeah, phoned up the vets and arranged for an appointment tomorrow. never seen anything like it.
