Potential Stargazer?

Hey Guys

I have this little Corn snake and he is very friendly but i think he is a potential Stargazer. I did some reading on stargazers and he isn't exactly as described but as soon as he is off the ground he seems to lose control over his body. Whenever i'm holding him its like he doesn't have any control over half of his body, his tail end just drags around and is really stiff, but i do know he can move that part because as soon as hes on the ground again he'll coil his tail around my fingers. Also he loves climbing, but he's awful at it, at night i can hear thumps coming from his Viv because he is constantly falling.

Anyone know what this is? Should i be worried?

Some snakes are just clutzes just like people and the snake can not blame it on ear issues lol.

Stargazer is pretty obvious even if you have never seen one in person before. The animal becomes spastic when excited (feeding, fear, breeding). They frequently flip upside down and move in a herky-jerky manner. This does not go away when they are either on the ground or being held. Think what a person's movements would be if they just came out of a washing machine spin cycle and you've got the picture.
I don't think what you are describing is SG. If he moves normally when he is on the ground he's probably fine.

We could make use of a video. I also researched a bit on stargazer a while ago and it's fairly plain when you see it.

Hi guys!

Thanks for the replies! Yeah i did some researching too and watched some videos he is quite a spaz but not enough to be a stargazer, enoreg is right i think my snake is just a massive clutz -:-

My snow, Udjat, is a big klutz and rarely holds on or coils tightly and will slip off my arm if I am not careful with him myself. Klutzy snakes are just adorable to me.

Prismo is adorable! Hahaha he always looks so silly, i just get worried sometimes that he could really hurt himself. He also does this thing where when he eats he gets distracted and just stares and something, and then you poke him gently and he carries on eating.
Silly snake, i don't know how he'd survive in the wild :D
