Today, while driving through an industrial park, I scooped this guy up before he became roadkill. He was very calm until I had to pick him up a second time. 4.5-5 feet and probably 600 grams. Sorry, cell pics...

Great save my friend, I love the rat snakes. Around here is one of our most common snakes. And the ones that kept breaking into my old place last year lol

He's my first wild snake "capture"...I was literally shaking with excitement.

Cool, my daughter and I got to save one from tire tracks last year.
