A New Jungle for Kyros!

I was bored with a simple enclosure for my Hypo corn Kyros, so I decided to improvise! I made this by using styrofoam, glue, and toothpicks to stick it together. I then covered it in tile grout and painted it. After letting it dry I covered it with a non-toxic sealer and put in some decorations! What do you think?

Here is the outside! I used a match to melt away part of the foam to create a rocky look!

I think it looks awesome!!!!!! I tried doing that for my beardy once, but I must've done something wrong when I mixed the tile grout because it was so watery and even after I sealed it, it still cracked after a couple weeks under the heat lamp. I think yours turned out excellent, I really like the colors.

That is very cool! I wish you were in OR so you could come teach the kids in my Reptile 4-H club how to make them.

It's really simple and fun to make! I found a few good sites that help with the materials and I could find them again if you want? I think I spent less than $50 dollars on everything including the artifical plants!

This looks SO good!! I'm in the process of making my own right now. I've just glued all the styrofoam....But it doesn't look as great as yours!
