Right nexus is used to having kitchen roll as substrat but today i got him wood chippins, he's used to hiding under the paper, under the water dish. I gave him a half cut kitchen roll tube to act as a tunnel on the cold side but he doesnt like it. should i move the plants to the front of the cold side or the back to give him somewhere to hide?
The set up looks ok. It will just take the snake a while to get used to the new substrate. Think of it as the difference between cotton and burlap and you can imagine how uncomfortable it would be to switch between the two.
