A million posts in one year? Heavens no! That count is from the day this forum was set up back in 2002. So it took us seven and a half YEARS to get to that number. To get a million posts a year would take, what, 2,700 posts PER DAY? I don't see that happening any time soon, if ever. So yeah, it is a shame the site isn't more active then it is....

But thanks for getting us to this milestone. I do think it is quite an achievement for you all.

Betcha the next million will come a lot faster!

Considering the post counts for active users (alan has 18000+ for example) we may get to 2 million quicker than 7 1/2 more years.

At the current average of 800 posts per day, we're still looking at three and a half years to get to the second million goal post.

Hmm, I just looked at the stats and we had 1,027 posts within the past 24 hours. Heck, maybe that next million will come a LOT quicker!
