Bought some new hides.....pleasantly surprised

So I bought Alfie a couple of hides from Swell reptiles online, and silly me didn't check the measurements/dimensions. I have the XL one in my bearded dragons viv (her name is Beemo), and it's huge. So I assumed that the L would be big enough for a full grown corn snake, so he could fit his whole body in and curl up if he wanted. I bought 2 of them.

Well they arrived yesterday, and when I opened them I was kind of gutted that they were so small looking. Had a laugh with my partner about me being too stupid to check the sizing listed on the site, and figured I could put them in Aflies viv for him to crawl over, seeing as he has some make shift hides anyway (an empty mini twister icecream box, and a wee cardboard box with all the tape removed, empty toilet roll holders, and empty kitchen roll holders). He loved them, and climbed all over them straight away, lovely wee curious guy he is.

This morning I came down stairs and the first thing I do each morning is check on Alfie and Beemo, make sure they're both alright. And I couldn't see Alfie straight away, so I figure he's in one of the boxes, then as I'm about to walk away I see a little bit of white in one of the 'tiny' hides. I guess he did manage to fit himself in there xD

Corn snakes actually like small tight fitting hides. You probably got the right size after all.
