Genetic Q....Satin X Satin?

Hey,
I have been noticing that some of my satins are coming out "ratty" looking...They seen to have long noses and small bodys and just don't grow as well as the non-satins in the same litter? This only happens with the satins and never anything else? Is this because I am breeding satin to satin or is it just a trait of the satin gene? I've heard that satins are sometimes unhealthy compared to other mice?
Any comments?

If this implys that you're inbreeding then it might not be the Satin factor but bad traits that you're pulling out. My only experience with Satin mice has been on a strictly pet basis. I had two females and needless to say.... I neve saw the F2s
:sidestep:

I've got a pretty terrible picture of myself and them ... but I'll upload it so you can compare them to yours.
