You found a rattlesnake? Awesome!

I was just arguing with someone yesterday. She was convinced there were no venomous snakes in Wisconsin. I told her rattle snakes lived here but she didn't believe me. Where did you find him out of curiosity?

Southwest Wisconsin. We have two species of venomous snakes in Wisconsin: Timber and Massasauga Rattlesnakes. Both are seldom seen and protected by law.
