My limited outings since moving to TX...

Gonna keep this simple - little rambling, just pics.









In situ...there was a mediterranean gecko in the frame but it bolted as my lens focused.

I'm not confident on this ID, as it ran off when I went to reposition for dorsal shot. It's either "laredoensis" or gularis or sexlineata.








I sadly watched this gorgeous lep lep get smacked. He's now a freezer pet, waiting to be donated to science.

I've always wanted to find a Lined Snake, but that Trans Pecos Rat Snake takes the cake. Nice stuff!

I really like the alligator lizard and the racerunner photos. It'd be nice if you mentioned the common names.

Thanks everyone. The suboc was a sweetie! So tempted to bring it home, but alas I've not cage space for it at the moment. They're pretty snakes and I will keep one again in the future.
