Breeding/Egg Production & CareAny topics concerning breeding of the cornsnake, brumation, egg laying, or issues concerning problems in any step along the way.
i do not think my snake has produced fertile eggs as when the eggs where first layed they were white, but now they have become a yellow sort of colour over night.
Does anyone think the eggs r fertile?
What medium are you incubating them in? I noticed that when my teacher put the eggs in spaghnum moss, the eggs turned kind of yellowish or light brown in some spots but I think that's just the tannic acid (or something like that) from the moss. The eggs are definitely fertile, we candled them.
So it might be from the medium..unless you are using something that can't possibly stain the eggs.
