Ok, my ~year old male corn just shed last night! I handled him yesterday and he did not seem agitated or uncomfortable and I could not really tell that he was about to shed. I thought i read that they would be nervous before shedding but is it after that I need to leave him alone? I'd really like to clean the tank so can u get him and have someone play with him while I clean it or should I move him to a tub for ~3 minutes?
They're fine to handle after shedding! In theory it's best to leave them alone beforehand, but I can never tell when, say, my snow is going into blue, so he gets handled/fed on his regular schedule regardless, and he's never had a problem.
