Tina: She's here now. I'm going to offer a pink/feed tails this sunday and next week I'll start tubing if I need to. Fingers crossed she eats on her own this week!
Oh cool!~I'm just seeing this. Will you keep us posted, please? She's so pretty!
Try lizard scenting. Find a lizard or a anole to rub the pinky against and then offer it. If she is really small only offer the scented head at first. This works well for most of stubborn feeders.
Around here I use Eastern Fence Lizards. I am sure you probably have them where you are or so other species. Catch them basking in the sun on a fence, tree, or rock.
She refused her first feeding and i didn't force her. Last week I weighed her and she's 4g. Today she got fed again and refused... took about 2-2.5ml by syringe. She probably could have taken more, but i want to go slowly since she's so little!
