DIY Front Opening Aquariums

Ohhh, now I see... Inside the electrical cover panels is not glass/Plexiglas, but the window screen. Very cool!

IT looks very good on the final product to.
Brad has done a wonderful Design on these setups.
But for the cost of a 10 gallon and the items for this, you can build yourself a nice setup for real cheap. These 10 gal setups are perfect for Garters, hognose, Rosy boas and any small snakes.

I was just wondering if the humidity would be to high for corns with just the little screen instead of the big screen top?

Sorry.. I guess I should of clarified.. I meant would it be a little high? Or what has the humidities technically been running at?

Sorry for the retarded post it's late for me. What has the humidity been running at for you with your's?

I think that's a better question.

Well humidity in these cages have been running around room humidity in mine, around 50%....couple squirts with a spray bottle jumps it to around 70% for a day or 2 but it drops back down fairly quickly.

Only 2....

1- best to add another 1" wide piece across the floor of the door area to keep the Aspen in the tank...tends to fall out when you open the door since the lip is only about 1/2" lip otherwise.

2- If you don't have a heated room it cause issues....undertank heaters work good for the hotspot but you can't place a basking lamp on the glass or it'll crack. But I have a heated room so not an issue for me. But then that also depends on the species you wish to keep in them.

How would you go about adding this extra bit to keep the aspen in? Just cut it so the space is there and bolt it in?

Thanks. Got a friend who is willing to help me with this so I will finally be able to stop being annoyed with the space my 10 gals take up so I'll be able to get more!
