My latest mouse mutants

carol

Down with the sickness
This guy starts off grey and ends up tan, with a flaming orange belly along the way. IIRC he started off all grey so maybe he is shedding out to a different color and is in transition??? He's been at adult breeding age for at least 2 months now. Any ideas?

Hm, well, long fur is great for a pet (at least I've always been partial to longhair cats), but I would think it would just be unnecessary roughage when it's a feeder, no?

Cute mouse, tho'.

The grey-to-other-colour one could be something like an Argente Tan (the tan belly is a giveaway and specifies his variety, but not necessarily what his top colour is) - he could also be a peculiar champagne tan... or a silver fawn tan, perhaps.
