Quick

So we are handling him as much as we can and he will allow. He is so quick. Do they ever slow down when they are babies? Or do we just try keep up with him for a while yet?

Give it time. Many usually become accustomed to handling, although some do not. Don't feel bad if yours doesn't. They're not like cats or dogs.
