1.1 2015 Tessera Stripes. I held back too many, they were all so beautiful! This pair, like most of their siblings have been perfect feeders (f/t) since hatching, and have truly laid-back personalities. Kid pet quality, but with genes to be proud of. The male is the orange amel, het for diffused and caramel, which is what gives him that beautiful orange tone, with lemon stripes. The female is a Butter. I realize that she doesn’t scream Tessera, but could be mistaken for a regular Butter Stripe. When she hatched, you could trace her dorsal stripe to her tail tip. That and the lack of any side stripes tells me she is a Tessera Stripe. They share a father, a Tessera Caramel Motley/Stripe, het amel. The males mother was a Fire Motley/Stripe, het caramel, which is where the diffused comes from. The females mother was a very bright yellow non-Tessera Butter Stripe. Too small to breed in '17, but not tiny hatchlings, either. $350, plus shipping for the pair.
