I've purchased small quantities of several sizes from Layne Labs shipped to the house, and I just bought a bag of 50 pinkies from American Rodent Supply at a local show. I was pleased with the quality of all the mice from both.
Layne Labs is the only place I know where you can buy in small quantities. Even with shipping, the price and quality beat the nearby chain stores. It helps if you can split an order with a friend.
Big Cheese Rodent Factory in Ft. Worth. I drive there and pick them up so I can vouch for their quality and pricing , but don't know about shipping rates, but IIRC ...Nancy has bought from them and she's in Florida, and said the rates were reasonable.

I'm in Maine and I buy from Big Cheese occasionally. Quality feeders for sure!
They usually have a flat rate for shipping. Right now it's $29 but if your close by then even better for you )
