Looking for Ideas

airenlow

hope is not a strategy
I need ideas for a base that would go under an AP Economy rack to raise it up higher. I am 6'8" and, pretty much, have to get down on my knees to open the bottom tub of my rack (exaggerating a little). The obvious answer is to make a wooden box, about 12" tall, that the rack would sit on...but I wanted to see what everybody else could come up with. If you can think of a DIY idea or even something I could buy it would be greatly appreciated!

 <------That is me kneeling to open the darn tub!

Wooooow, Im not sure what to suggest being I dont know much about economy racks at the moment.
But your tall! Psh, I envy you, you can reach so much more then I can!

I would just build a base/box as a base with a couple drawers for some extra storage. Paint it black to match the rack and secure the legs to it so everything is nice and sturdy.

Along those same lines see if AP can build you a stand with storage so it matches.

Thanks for the ideas everybody! I will send AP an email and see what they can do...otherwise its off to Home Depot.
