You have nothing to worry about.. the lump is a good thing.
Doesn't matter how old the pinky is as long as it fits down the hatch
Congrats
Connor.

Hunter, You really need to go out and by Kathy Love's book on Corn snakes. Go to your local pet shop and see if they have it or order it from Kathy Love's website. You are panicking over normal basic stuff.
You have a new pet, you need to go out and do the research. Your snake will be fine and you shouldn't have any problems.

I bought Don Soderberg's Corn Snakes in Captivity book and I also just ordered Kathy Love's Corn Snake Manual. I think between those two and this forum, I am really set!

lol, I am SOOO bored! lol I keep checking the chat room and stuff, but I don't have a life, My baby is so cute, she pops her little head out of her hide whne I come into the room and looks at me, I don't think she thinks of me as a threat anymore, because now she comes out and is starting to crawl up the wall of her VIV even though I was watching!!!!!

See, we all told ya so. It just takes time, that's all.
I'm usually bored most days. That's why I have a lot of posts for being a relatively new person, heh.

I was feeding her fairly large pinks. So if it was a day old, she should be fine, even if she is a little stressed. I just wanted you to feed her smaller meals than I fed, at least the first few times. Once she is settled in, you can go to large pinks (without fur, but larger than the newborn pink).
I think the book would be a great help to you. Reading it will keep you from getting bored, lol!
