Does this set-up look right?
So, while I have attempt to raise 2 clutches from our snakes in the past, they both died before hatching. I want to make sure the set-up is right for their third clutch so we can get some babies finally.
Jill (the female) laid about 25 eggs last night/this morning. We just removed them, but while we were moving her they jostled. I couldn't tell what was up and what was down for them, but I did my best. Should they be okay since its early?
Incubator is at 82 F, humidity says its like 62 but the eggs are in a sealed container inside, so the humidity should be higher in that. Used moistened vermiculite (no water drips out when you squeeze it).
Also, do most of these eggs look infertile? They are so small and darker than the two large, white ones. Her past clutches were the same way, a couple large, white eggs and the rest were small and dark and squishy.
Thanks in advance!
