Hold old is your snake, or how long is it? How big is the tank?...what is all in the tank..eg the substrate, hides, water dish etc?

When my snake was young it always climbed the trees and hides looking for away out...now that it is older it just eats...lays in its hide and sometimes comes out to move around.

It's normal for a corn snake to look for an out.

Completely normal, but I would check the cage temps too.
