They like each other

I think you might be ok, depending on the warm side. You might even be one of the lucky people who doesn't need heat at all in the summer (if you aren't running AC in your house!)

Just wanted to apologise to everyone I have been rude and disrespectful to.. Things have just been a little cr@p here on my side so I have been edgy.. I know I shouldnt have taken it out on you guys so again - I am sorry

Ha ha - AC?? I wish!! :)

I'm just waiting for everything to heat up again because I switched it off - I will post the reading as soon as it settles

It could take several hours to settle- I'd give it at least two- but watch out so you don't cook them!

I think it is going to take a while!!

Dont worry - I'm watching things closely.. Its great with the plastic containers - I can see them in their cardboard tubes..

Taryn mine will go to the carboard tube before fancy hide. Even my bigs snakes like when I find big tubes for them.

Hee hee - thats typical! Great so now I'll have to hunt for bigger ones as they grow!!

Another question - do I put the probe on the newspaper right on the heating pad or up in the air :shrugs: I'm confused!!

On the plastic right over the heating pad. Under the newspaper. You want it to be in the hottest possible place the snake can come in contact with.

oki doki - but wont it read the same tempreture even in winter if the probe is still resting on the heat mat?
