Sorry Zincubus, I think folks who advise using Search maybe aren't explaining themselves properly (I include myself!).

Search would be appropriate if current threads don't answer your question. At that point, looking through historical threads might actually be more use to you.

However, if using Search doesn't find what you need, then I think the intention is that you post a new thread yourself, rather than updating an old thread with a new question that it didn't answer first time round.

I guess this is all getting a bit complicated. It's possible that some of us "older hands" assume that others know what we mean, when we actually need to explain ourselves better (again, I include myself).

Please don't feel bad. You've done as you were advised, it's just not what we thought we meant - which is our fault!
