Beautiful! I just noticed the only difference you can easily pick out between Raj and Sneak is that the pattern on their heads are different. Raj has a unbroken diamond, but Sneak's is kind of a sideways "v" with an elongated spot next to it
I did notice that Sneak's eyes were cloudy last night, not really full blue, so I'm curious to see how closely she'll follow what Raj did in terms of days until shedding, or if she'll do her own thing!

Here's a before and after picture of my little amel when she was in shed:
Before:
After:
I love when she's freshly shed, but I hate it when she hides all the time during the shedding process.

me too! Mine ate 2 nights ago and they don't seem to come out much when they eat. Then they shed and are hiding. I wish they'd come out more. One of mie came out yesterday during the day but that's rare.

Mine is almost never out during the day. I hope that as she gets older and more confident, she'll spend more time outside of her hides.

Wow, those pictures are amazing!
I'm currently fighting the urge to get another corn snake. I'm trying to make myself wait for at least a little while, but I'd really like a Crimson from BHB... http://www.bhbreptiles.com/component...6c2395b9b4.jpg
I'm playing the waiting game and missing Sneak being out in the evenings. She should shed within the next few days... It's been exactly a week since her last meal, I'm waiting until after she sheds. It's amazing how much you can miss seeing them when they hide away...

That's actually another reason to get two snakes, they really aren't much more work and then you can put them on different feeding schedules and always have one that can be held while the other is digesting.

Jenna - good luck! Post new pics of Sneak once he sheds they are addicting, I can understand the desire for another snake.
Hypno, beautiful corn - how old is she?
Anybody feeding their snake 2 pinkys each feeding? I'm not necessarily trying to "powerfeed" Raj, but I would like him to be a studly and stocky fella without putting him in any risk. Any Health issues with this?? Thnx

Definitely can't wait to post more pictures and to see her "new skin"
Re: "Power-feeding"/"pushing"-- I know they're not supposed to live as long if you feed them a lot of food and too often. They grow fast, but then die younger. Plus, like pretty much any animal, snakes can get overweight.

well my one i rescued from a bad home, my female i bought from a petco, kinda on a whim, kinda not. i realize theres a supply and demand, however, when places like petco aquire hatchlings, they usually dont sell out, they tend to have and overflow of snakes that no one wants as adults, because everyone wants a cute hatchling. i myself am guilty of buying a hatchling too, only because i already had an adult and wanted the experience of raising one from a hatchling. but a lot of people, including myself recommend adults or yearlings/subadults for beginner snake owners for many reasons. if only petstores told us that...but if i hadnt boughten var from petco, someone wouldve, or shed be one of those adult cornsnakes in an overcrowded cohabbed tank, who also might never be a good pet in the long run from the lack of human contact and care. i agree theres a fine line, and i walk the line i suppose also. i guess my theory is youd literally have to boycott petstore snakes in order to stop the suppliers from breeding, and to direct the demand elsewhere like personal breeders. i really wish this subject had an easier solution....but i dont want it to turn into an arguement like it has when its been discussed in other threads. so ill just shut up for now =D
