welcome, field studies are a very important part of conservation, it's great that you are doing that. Maybe seeing you like field studies/conservation, and are from New England, you might know of David Carroll. He's very well known in the area, and he is recognized all over for his field studies on turtles and wetland conservation. If you haven't heard of him, I recommend you look for his books, I'm sure they have them at your school library, "the year of the turtle", "trout reflections", and "swampwalkers journal". He's also my grandfather, but that's not why you should research him, his books have excellent insight on field studies and conservation. Anyways, welcome and I'm sure you will find people here to be very helpful, and knowledgable.
