Anyway thx for the replys guys. I have a 10 gallon tank for right now with a heat lamp on the left side. There is a log type thing on the right side and a fake rock on the left side. Both of which he can get under. The water dish is on the cool side. Isn't that where its supposed to be? And BTW, yes i've had him/her for about 3 weeks. Found it out in our pasture the same night we had our firdt hard freeze( Thankfully cause either one of our horses or the frost would have got him). I haven't though of a name yet. I was thinking killer since he/she kinda has that nature

Can't wait to see photos of him!

Lose the light and get yourself an under the tank heater and you should be all set. Yes, the water bowl should be placed on the cool side unless you need a bit more humidity. It should be wide and heavy enough that he can't knock it over, though. I hope he eats ok for you. Have you gotten yourself some appropriately sized mice?
