When the girl was trying to get him out he and the other 2 were striking at her an running which she was using a pen to try an herd him in the carrier.. which im sure stressed him even more.. But my thing is i put him up havent really messed with him but to just look at him. I have one of my shirts in there along with 2 hides an a water bowl he stay in my shirt.. I put my hand in there and just rest it I dont move it he comes explores it.. doesnt get on it but does brush up against it.. he seemed comfortable.. I couldnt help myself and kinda moved my finger to brush up against him an he hauled tail.. LoL do you guys think he will be ok? as for personality and temperment? He'll be ok. Babies are different because as far as nature is concerned, everything wants to eat them. I wouldn't mess with him for a week or so. Make sure he's feeding alright and then after a couple days get him out for short handling sessions. He just needs to settle in, then you can teach him that you aren't the enemy.

Your baby is probably just a little skitish from his ordeal at the petstore. Give him some time to settle into his new home (3-5days) Then you can handle him a little. When you go to pick him up don't be hesitant or afraid it just makes them more nervous to have a giant hand lingering in their cage lol Swiftly and gently pick him up.

All snakes are going to have a different personality. Babies, in particular, are usually more skittish as it is anyway, especially when put into a new environment. As others mentioned I would just leave it be for a week to allow it to adjust to the new environment. Don't touch it, don't mess with it, and don't play super mario brothers with it. Snakes are not good video game players anyway...no opposable thumbs...or hands in general.

Even as they grow you will find they are not all the same. One of mine is out all the time exploring. Another is almost always hidden, but super gentle in nature. Another one is a bitey strikey thing. You never know what you'll end up with.
