Can't find shed

My baby went blue the other day, I left for a day and a half and now she has clear eyes and bright colors yet I can't find a shed at all. So that being said my question is, can a snake go into shed and then decide not to? I would think that would be impossible but I spent an hour sifting thru substrate looking for a shed.

she hasn't shed yet. snakes go blue, and then clear up shortly before shedding their skin. it will likely happen in the next two days.

It can be disconcerting when that happens, but just wait a couple days and it'll be fine

My baby did the same. His eyes were cloudy one day and clear the next morning. Later that day he shed.

And sometimes it takes a couple of days after they clear up before they shed too...
He should be ok!
