He could have mites if he is spending a lot of time soaking. Look for little black specks in his water dish. I guess he could just enjoy the water, but I have yet to see any of my snakes soak.

thanks for replying i havent had him long and he is 3 when i got him he had no bath but on the internet i read they did like water for a bath since then he is in and out and spends hours in it !! have looked at the water it is clear nothing floating about mmm maybe he just likes water !
 
Also it could just be the personality of the snake. My corn never bathes but some people on here have said that their sankes bathe frequently. My neighbor has one that stays in his water most of the time, and his snake is very healthy.
