New Member Introductions Getting more and more new members here, so I think we need a forum for them to introduce themselves. You old timers can do the same, if you would like.

Sorta new.

I was going to join this forum and then I got a message that said I already had an account. I was thinking, I DO?!....Plug in my email and see what comes up. I was alarmed given the date thinking at first that cannot be me, I wasn't interested in corn snakes in 2006. Why do I have an account on a corn snake forum?.

When I checked the back messages, it all made sense. I was using this forum to look for mice. Ok...now it all makes sense. I had mice for a while back then. Thus I racked up a total of two posts during my stay since my interest in getting a snake back then was nil.

Times have changed for me. I've been a keeper of small lizards, after much consideration, I had decided to get a crested gecko as my "first" reptile since I had green anoles as a child. I have three crested geckos and a gargoyle gecko now so I think I made a good choice with them.

And now I do want a snake. My experiences with some garter snakes this summer made me realize I want to give them a try. I was undecided between garter and corn snakes and now I'm thinking maybe I'll get both( not to be housed together, don't worry).

Welcome back to the forum! Garter snakes are lovely, but you may have to feed them fish and they can be muskier than corn snakes. I think either one would be a fine choice, but I'm partial to corns myself.

I'd love to see some pictures of your geckos. Someday I'll get a crested. I think they are so cute!
