Question for Candlemakers

How much does one ounce of solid wax turn into after it's been melted?

oreo
candles

I dont make them but my girl sells a ton of them. It would depend on the wax. standard wax shouldnt lose any weight at all when melted. some waxes with fragrance will lose a little weight and some when burning completely evaporate. Like I said I dont calim to be an expert but half of my closet and the whole under side of the bed are filled with crazy little candles and stuff. I hate to think I am the only man that knows the difference between a tealight and a votive candle.
