I think he is an Amel, not sure. He is about 9 1/2 months.
Reason I called him "Ares" is because I picked him out of all the
rest of his sibblings because he was the only one to bite at me
and fight the whole time I held him. Even to this day he is jumpy
whenever I pick him up. Anyways he's a fighter, hence the name.

Very nice snake. For some reason there is something endearing about a snake that bites you when you are trying to buy it. Or maybe I'm just crazy. My first snow bit me in the store and that was it, I knew I had to have her. I guess it helps that she was a hatchling and I heard the bite more than I felt it.

Amels have pink eyes. The inside of your (and a cornsnake's) eyes are covered with melanin, which keeps light from bouncing around inside your eyes. This is the big giveaway with amels, no matter what other mutations are mixed in, the eyes say it all.

Look at his eyes, if he is not amelanistic, his pupils will be black. If they are pinkish or orangey then he is amelanistic. Looks in the pic like he's an amel. A very pretty amel at that.
