Thats just wrong. Why would someone tell you that your pet would make excellent accessories? Its just rude. Its like saying someone's dog/cat would make a great coat.

Just rude.

And taxidermy is an art. I have seen some amazing set ups where they have replicated everything in the habitat.
 
I have skined corns that have died but i have never thought about taking a perfectly healthy snake just for it's skin.
 
I let it slide b/c it was a good friend, but somewhat phobic about snakes...You just have to say the word "snake" and she gets all scared.
It's funny because after she said it the first sarcastic comeback I could think of was "Yeah, and your dog would make a good coat!
I own a pair of boots made from alligator leather but I absolutely draw the line when it's a snake!
