What size mice should my snake be eating?

My snake is 2'6" long, and about 100 g, how large of prey should he be eating? I have read that snakes should eat mice that are around the same size of the biggest part of their bellies, can they be a little bit bigger than that? I have asked this to a friend and she wasn't sure either. She though maybe hoppers. When I look at hoppers though, they look a little to big for him.

a 100 g snake should eat mice weighing about 12 to 15 grams

Your snake should be eating 10%-15% of its weight. So anything from 10g to 15g
