please help

is it normal for the snake to lay under the gravel because mine lays under there for days! am i doing anything wrong? another thing is the temperture it is between 75-80F is this wright because all the websites say different things!! someone please get back to me thanks.

First off, I hope you are not using "Gravel" as a substrate. Aspen is the perferred substrate for corn snakes. Burrowing is normal for corns. When my corn is in blue, I will not see him for a week straight. Your viv could be a few degrees warmer. The general consensus for temps are 80-85 on the warm side and 70-75 on the cool side. These are approximate temps. You should really consider changing your substrate to aspen. Good Luck.

thanks for that. should i lay newspaper under the aspen?

I see no reason to put anything under the aspen.
