An extreme Okeetee phase is simply one with extra thick borders, usually more than 2 scales thick. There's no real objective criteria for what separates an extreme from a regular one, but most people generally have their opinions on any given snake. Abbott's Okeetees are a line of brightly-colored Okeetees that originate with Lee Abbott. The best of them generally have very thick borders as well, and many qualify as extremes.
