Reptilefest 2017, Chicago Herpetological Society

This is not a show where you can buy. This is a exhibition with no live sales that is geared toward education. It is an annual event of the Chicago Herpetological Society and you have to be a member in order to exhibit. The show fills two gyms at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, so there is a lot to see there.

I am exhibiting for the first time this year. As much as I love my corn snakes, there are many corn snakes at Reptilefest so Mandy and Cleo will be snoozing at home. However, I had more than one request to bring Clyde, my Cape African house snake.

There are all kinds of herps there and a special exhibit with the herps of Illinois. It is very family friendly and children are welcome. The web site is here: http://chicagoherp.wixsite.com/reptilefest

Be sure to stop by on April 8 or 9 and meet Clyde!
