Oh man, I LOVE black rats! They are on the top of my wish list, along with Mexican black kingsnake, but I believe the rat snake has a waaayy better temperament

We let him go. My roommate didn't want to; we got attached. We took him out and held him a couple times during his stay and took a few more pictures. In the second picture, where he's on my roommate's lap, he actually sat there on his own for a good 3 minutes before trying to run off. Again, we can barely believe he's a wild snake.

Well, sure. I'd remember someone fondly who kept shoving food at me and gave me my own personal hot tub. (He spent nearly a full day just sitting in his water bowl.)
