Okeetee coloration when they are babies?

Hi,
Im looking for an orange okeetee corn and I saw a local breeder who said he has some but the baby looks gray rather than orange, do they change colours as they get older?

Pine, the first baby you pushed isn't an okeetee, it's a normal though the coloring is the same at that age. Your second picture is a young juvenile, nowhere near an adult.
 
Okeetee are genetically normals, but they've been bred to have thick black borders to the saddles. They start off dull red /orange /brown and color up as they age, taking between 3 and 5 years to get their full color in. So the hatchling posted doesn't have the thick borders of an okeetee, but the coloration at that age is basically the same.
 
Here is an extreme okeettee from 2013 as a baby and 5 years later in 2018 as an adult.
