Ok,

two noses, and one more slitting. Thats all that i'll bother them tonight. Hopefully By morning I'll have at least one out of the egg...and lots more pipping!!

EDIT: Or, at the very least, a charcoal lavender stripe. Either way, I'm pretty sure that's a world's first.

It _does_ look less mocha-y in the final pic, but I want to see comparisons to siblings. I posted pics on Ians of brand new and 12-hours plasma stripe, but they probably won't be moderated till tomorrow. For comparison.

That snake is awesome! However, looking at the vental photo, I don't see the translucent parts of the ventral scales that are indicative of a diffused snake. I'd venture that it's a charcoal lavender stripe...just as fyrefocks said. Freaking awesome!

The parents of the clutch, Jacinto and Iris, are likely masque, which will further influence the (lack of) head pattern in this striped baby, if male. The bellies of both parents have split checkers.

Here is a good photo of the breeding pair: (You can see Jacinto's masque head pattern).
