So Peach is now Amaretto?

I saw that Stephen Roylance is starting to call Hypo Lavender Caramels, "Amaretto"s. When I saw this, I thought that the term "Peach" had been decided on. At least I had seen it in many places, but (for me) most importantly Ians Vivarium. But when I went over there, it had been removed. So what happened? Amaretto? Peach? Amberder? Huh......

Movin' to the country gonna eat a lot of peaches
I'm movin' to the country I'm gonna eat me a lot of peaches
I'm movin' to the country I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
Peaches come from a can they were put there by a man
In a factory downtown
If I had my little way I'd eat peaches everyday
Sun soakin bulges in the shade

Movin' to the country I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
I'm movin to the country gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country gonna eat a lot of peaches

I took a little nap where the roots all twist
Squished a rotten peach in my fist
And dreamed about you woman
I poked my finger down inside makin' a little room for a ant to hide
Nature's candy in my hand or can or a pie

Millions of peaches peaches for me
Millions of peaches peaches for free
Millions of peaches peaches for me
Millions of peaches peaches for free

Look out

Millions of peaches peaches for me
Millions of peaches peaches for free
Millions of peaches peaches for me
Millions of peaches peaches for free

Look out

Same here. THANK YOU!
I hate to be the one saying this, but I *extremely* dislike all of these names: Moonstone, Amberder, Amaretto, Shatter....
If it has been called Peach, and has been decided on, it should remain Peach.
As a general rule, the person who *first* comes up with the morph should name it and if they haven't done so, then should be contacted before names are decided on or changed.
Sorry to open that can of worms but it's starting to get ridiculous.

Did a little research and it seems that the "peach" mystery line corns produced by Rich Hume are NOT amber lavenders. The exact reason for their coloration and their full genetics is still unknown and may simply be selective/line breeding so they can still be called "peach" corns while hypo caramel lavenders can be called "amaretto" corns.

And it seems it was Vinman and a vote by the CS.com members that made the "peach" name official for his and Rich's stock:

He's my issue; Amaretto does not look anything like those snakes. At least give me a clue to the genetics involved. Lots of the corn "trade names" have that problem.

Amaretto? No idea what's in it.
Amberder? Amber Lav, but you sound like a goob.
Carender? Is that a care bear with gimp?
Avalanche? Snow I'm guessing, but what else? Oh blood red, well that's morbid. Snow + Blood x ski resort = Bloody Snow, hence Avalanche? I fail to see the logic.

To each his own in the end, but I think changing morph names just because they sound better to you, needs to get roped in.
