Heat tape for a rack

I'm looking to start breeding cornsnakes and i have made a rack containing 5 28 qt tubs. what wattage/V would be good for cornsnakes?

the wattage and voltage don't matter nearly as much as the thermostat. If you don't invest in a thermostat, you'll have 5 tubs of cooked snakes.

If you already built the rack what provisions did you make for adding a heat source? If you used a router on the shelves to make a grove for Flexwatt tape, 4 inch Flexwatt will suffice. If you grooved your shelves for heat cable, such as ZooMed cable, that also will suffice. However, as Karl mentioned, a thermostat is mandatory. I have 5 racks and prefer Flexwatt, but two of the racks have heat cables. If your ambient room temperature stays between 76-80 it doesn't take much to create a warm side.
